Summer Surprise Goes Live

Jeesh, I suck at posting...but the Olympics have been on and my TV screen is filled with boys in tiny swimsuits. Can you blame me for not getting a lot of writing done. So, Summer Surprise released on July 28, 2012. It's up on Silver Publishing, Amazon and Amazon UK, which is totally cool because it means my story is worldwide. It could be up on other sites but I haven't checked them out...again blame the Olympics ... I know I've sold a few copies, but since this is my first real live book, I have nothing to compare it with. I do not know what average sales for a male/male romance short story are and maybe that's a good thing. Stuff like that drives me crazy and right now, I need to focus on my writing. Besides Summer Surprise, I just queried my new story tentatively called Frozen Hearts. I fell in love with these boys the moment the story formed inside my head. It was hard for me to let them go, but I hope the story gets picked up and I can share it with everyone. The story is filled with romance, angst and hockey boys. I'm also working on a M/M/M story. I've never written a menage story, so who knows if this one will ever see the light of day. There's a lot of body parts involved. Well, the Olympics are back on TV ... I'm outta here, Xo Teegan

Eight Days

I can't remember where or when I decided that number eight was supposed to be my lucky number, but somewhere along this journey, I claimed it. So, it's eight days before the release of my first story from Silver Publishing. I figured since this blog is included in the pages of the book, I should at least have one post. The site is slowly going to be revamped. I'm working on a new layout. I'm sure no one wants to hear me whining about why I haven't been able to get it done. I will say that I have recently finished a 53,000 word story that I'm planning to submit to Silver shortly. To say I'm excited and hopeful about that story would be a complete understatement. I'll reveal more about the story in a few weeks, even more if Silver picks up the story. For now, I want to concentrate on the story releasing on July 28, 2012. I'm not really sure what to expect. Weird things roll around in my brain, like, oh my God, what if no one buys it? What if everyone hates it? I mean the editors who helped me iron out the story seemed to enjoy reading it, but that's their job. Creative people are a major pain in the ass...Don't get me wrong, I totally love what I do and I'm so honored that someone actually thought my little story was good enough to be published, I'm just a large bundle of nerves. I don't want this to be a one time thing. Sigh...I promise I will survive all this... Summer Surprise will be available on July 28, 2012 as an ebook. I'll try to figure out how to put a link on the sidebar...it's been awhile since I've been on Blogger and it's changed. Teegan
